Welcome to Starling & Sea.  I'm Katie, a designer and artist located in Virgina's Tidewater region, who is inspired by nature, nostalgia, and storytelling. For years, I have been creating custom commissions through my Etsy shop, Gentle Road, painting Love Stories, Family Trees, and Career Story paintings that celebrate life's most precious milestones.
